Whether you are looking to do some all-day fishing or you just want to go out for a few hours of fun on the water, I’ve got you covered. With options ranging from 4 to 8 hours with bay and ocean options, there is surely a trip to meet your needs. All you need to bring is food, drinks, and appropriate clothing! I offer a wide variety of charter trips that target a large majority of native and migra

tory fish in both the bay and out in the ocean, which appeals to beginner anglers and advanced anglers alike. I captain a 24 foot HydraSport center console that is equipped with more than the required amount of safety gear, private bathroom, Minnkota trolling motor (which makes wreck fishing quick and easy), satellite communications, radio, and all of the fishing equipment you will need for your trip. The hull of the boat is in a deep V, which ensures that the ride stays smooth even if the weather becomes unfair.

Another stellar season in the books for . So many smiles and so many fish this year, I always love looking back at all the memories that’ve been made aboard. We’re gonna be trying out something new for 2025, keeping the boat on the trailer so we can run trips from north to south; wherever the fishing’s best! I’ll still be taking some advanced bookings with my regular customers, but I’ll be suspending most long-term booking just for this season to see how it goes focusing more on shorter notice open boat trips either out of Raritan Bay, Atlantic City, or Cape May.

I’d also like to thank all the amazing local tackle shops for supplying us with all of our bait and tackle needs throughout the year RipTide Bait and Tackle Tight Lines B&T North Absecon Bay Sportsman Center.

Awesome night last night, crew got tight on a giant bluefin and proceeded to fight him for 4 1/2 hours. The fish was an absolute tank, probably north of 80”. We had it to the boat several times but it was obviously too big, so we let it go. We hooked into a different fish as soon as we put lines out which ate a RipTide Bait and Tackle ballyhoo on a pink head but unfortunately broke it off. We then hooked into this giant right before sunset on a RonZ.

As always, we had an amazing trip with the Philly PD and FD; these guys are a blast! We released an over striper in the AM that crushed a top water plug and hammered a limit of decent tog with Absecon Bay Sportsman Center green crabs. Killer end to an absolute marathon of a weekend, traveled well over a thousand miles and slept less than a dozen hours in the last three days. Up to NY for salmon and ending up here off the coast of NJ for tuna. I’ve heard the sea-bass bite was a little tough, but we’ll be looking to get on them during these next couple of weekends. We had a little fun with some inshore tuna last week, but we’ll be focusing on getting the little boat ready for some back-bay Striper/Tog trips. Unfortunately, Friday’s blow had the water a little too rough for our Mahi trip this morning. It cleared out just enough this afternoon so I ended up running out with a buddy and grabbing a dozen fish for the table. Fish were biting on buck-tails and RipTide Bait and Tackle 🦑. Lots of Mahi still around, hopefully the water temperature doesn’t drop too low this week putting an end to the bite.

Unfortunately, tuna didn’t cooperate for us today but the crew was more than happy to go home with a two man limit of tilefish up to 30lbs and a three man limit of mahi! Friday’s inshore mahi trip also had some decent action, the mahi are still a little finicky because of the cold water. All fish were caught with fresh squid from RipTide Bait and Tackle

We’re back to business as usual for the first Mahi trip of the year, coming back with 33 pretty decent sized mahi for this time of year (about 5-7lbs). It’s definitely looking like it’s going to be a great Mahi season, so don’t wait to get your spot. Additionally and unfortunately, we had some problems with my docking situation in Absecon; we are now officially running out of Farley State Marina at the Golden Nugget. Availability below 👇🏼

Feels good to be back, finally got the boat back in the water and it wasn’t for nothing. Had a slow pick of some flounder but still brought some meat home. Plenty of croaker action as well, keeping everyone busy and killing all gulp in sight. Have some open boat availability for this weekend!

Alright y’all.. we didn’t have the end to the season that I had hoped for but here it is. Brandy spankin new 300HP YAMAHA ready to break in the new season! After not one but two failed attempts at a “used” re-power, I figured it was time to buck up. We can now quickly and quietly slay more fish than ever before!
