An eclectic/remodeled farmhouse in Shady (a Hamlet of Woodstock) and a Mid Century Modern at the corners of Stone Ridge/Accord and Kripplebush. Both our homes have been designed for our family to live in rather than done cheaply as rentals. They are both are within two hours driving from New York City (in normal traffic).
: Our beautiful, eclectic farmhouse is set on the bank of
the Sawkill stream amongst the trees. We have several living areas as well as a covered patio and a pool cabana so you never feel like you're on top of each other. Swing in the forest, swim in the pool, trampoline, barbecue, roast s'mores on the fire pit, or just hang out by the indoor fires, cook, chill, read in the hammock, visit the historic music and art-centric town of Woodstock and enjoy our kid/dog friendly house!
: If you are a fan of Mid Century like we are, you will love this house. Although it was built in 1990, the architect was a the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture and it was built for a city skyscraper developer, so the specs are extremely high. The house is set on 13 private acres, including the pond and woods. We have 4 bedrooms, 1 master suite with a King bed, 1 with a queen bed, 1 with a Queen and a twin, and 1 with a pullout sofa bed. The house is bright and sunny due to the large floor to ceiling windows and skylights, and is extremly well insulated to keep the cold out. The house is very private and has an amazing pool and hot tub. The outside deck area is beautiful all day for lounging by the pool or eating at the oversize dining table. A walk down to the pond and sit on the dock at sunset is magic!
