Captain Matt got big fish honors today on this daily double. I took Captain Derek and Captain Matt down to The River today to do a little top water fishing. They doubled up on these two. It was a very fun day spent with my friends!

RIP CHAOS AND AXL. In the past 2 weeks I've lost two of my best friends I've had about 15 years. I lost Axl yesterday. He is the one swimming with me. I would always just saying I didn't like him but I love him very much. Chaos was my favorite though. Lost him a couple weeks back. He was definitely the favorite dog I've ever had. God does it hurt when they go but so many good years spent with them. Today I'm taking the day off and going fishing by myself to remember my friends.

WHAT THE DAY ON THE RIVER! August is always the best month of the year to hit the river. We even got some fish on topwater lures. Absolutely amazing. I was going to do a post that had a bunch of pictures of stripers and hybrids. Instead I just did one of this guy all on his own! We really don't Target these fish. But they are cool to see.
