2016 was our final year of operation so there will be no Christmas Train this year.
It was Church on the Move's privilege to host more than 1,000,000 guests over 20 years at The Christmas Train.

REFUND INFORMATION for Saturday (December 17) Christmas Train Ticket Holders:
As you may have heard, Christmas Train has been cancelled tonight (Saturday, December 17) due to potential severe weather and hazardous road conditions. Due to a full, sold out Christmas Train schedule, unfortunately we are unable to reschedule tonight’s event.
You will, however, receive a refund for your tickets. EventBrite will automatically refund the amount to the card used at the time of purchase. If you sold your tickets to a third party, we will inform them to connect with you to receive their refund.

We're getting several questions about our inclement weather policy. We do everything we can to keep The Christmas Train running rain or shine!
In the rare case of a cancellation, we will send an email associated with the purchased tickets as well as post a notice at christmastrain.com by 1:00 PM on the day of the event.

CHRISTMAS TRAIN TIP:
If you have tickets for The Christmas Train and you're planning on taking your kids to see SANTA CLAUS 🎅🏻 , you may plan to stop by Santa's Palace early to put your name on the nice list.
Due to the popularity of this attraction, many nights Santa's waiting list fills up in less than 90 minutes. 😳
Dry Gulch, U.S.A. is open for each night of The Christmas Train from 6:00-10:00 PM. If you make Santa Palace one of your first stops (possibly after riding the train), your chances will be much better for getting in to see jolly, ole Saint Nick.

Hey everyone! We've got an announcement to make. The Christmas Train will be closed for the 2015 season as we make some improvements to our facilities. We know that this is a local holiday tradition for lots of people in our community and appreciate your understanding while we work to make sure our guests have an even better experience in the future!

For those contacting us about the traffic congestion on the road into Dry Gulch, the OHP has been notified and the County Commissioner has been advised and is sending sand trucks to the area!

Due to the current road conditions and inclement weather we are experiencing in northeast Oklahoma, we have cancelled The Christmas Train for Friday night, December 6, 2013. The safety of our guests, volunteers, and staff is our primary concern. We will send an email to everyone who purchased tickets with details about ticket refunds. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and your family.
We wanted to share some stats from yesterday's sellout to give some perspective to those of you who experienced frustration and have commented on our page. We sold 54,000 tickets in 90 minutes, via 7,486 unique transactions. Only 3 of those transactions were for over 100 tickets: 2 of them were churches, and 1 of them was a group of 17 families that joined up to get tickets together. Our servers were set up to handle a complete sellout in 15 minutes (after last year's sellout in 11 hours) and if our ticketing system had not been strained under the incredible demand and the site would have worked perfectly, we would have sold out in just 8 minutes. Our goal next year will not be to prepare to accommodate a sellout in, say, 5 minutes, but rather to reevaluate our entire process for selling tickets to make this a less stressful and hectic process for our guests. Thank you for your understanding and patience!
Regarding scalpers of Christmas Train tickets on Craigslist, know that you can report their post as spam so that it is removed (as several of them already have been)!
Well, we are officially sold out of Christmas Train tickets for the 2013 season. As much as we'd love to celebrate that success, we know that due to website challenges, many of our guests had great difficulty securing their tickets or, in some cases, were unable to purchase them at all. For this, we sincerely apologize. Although we tried to accurately anticipate the demand for tickets, clearly, we were off. Last year, we sold out in roughly 11 hours - this year, we sold out in just over an hour and a half. We just weren't properly ready to handle that kind of a response. While we wish we could make every wrong situation right, unfortunately, it's just not going to be feasible. That said, we are working on a case-by-case basis to resolve as many ticket issues as we can. If you have an issue you'd like us to look into, please email us at [email protected] and we'll respond as soon as we can. Again, we are very sorry for the inconvenience and we hope you have a great Christmas season.
