Trust
A rare commodity. This is the diving station of a Cold War submarine. When you are nineteen years old, you begin to understand what trust really is. You are sitting in a chair in front of a panel that indicates depth, speed, direction and more. But you learn that you have to trust the instruments and the orders of those placed above you. You learn to trust the physics of the hydraulic powers to control the physics of the sea. You learn to tolerate loneliness and the harsh realities of a changing sea.
I am glad to have learned what to trust and who to trust. If you are among that rare group, I am honored to call you brother or sister.

July 4th 2023.
Christmas in July
The Red Cloud Post participated in the annual community 4th of July parade event. Our float this year was with member Harry Zeigler pulling a sleigh and member Wil Resch being Santa. Santa and Harry provided candy to all good boys and girls. The Post was also open for food, bar beverages and nachos. Spectators set up in the North sand lot and sidewalk. A great time was had by all the community members.

JULY 4TH EVENT AT AMERICAN LEGION RED CLOUD POST 250
The Red Cloud Post will be open on July 4th from 9AM to 2PM. Join us for the parade and enjoy hot dogs ($1.00), brats ($2.00), burgers ($3.00), cheeseburgers ($4.00) and nachos. Beverages include Bloody Mary, mixed drinks, beer, soda and water.
The volleyball courts, horseshoe pits and co****le games are also open and available for your enjoyment.
