As we head into the fall and winter, we want to look back at the intense summer we just had and thank all of our many clients for the great trips we were able to do. This year has become an unprecedented year for private aircraft charter around the world because of the COVID-19 pandemic and its after-effects. More and more people are now choosing to fly privately than ever before and it has created a shortage of availability for aircraft and qualified crews. We see this trend continuing to grow as we move into the holiday season and into 2022. Make sure you contact us AT LEAST 3-4 weeks before your planned departures for regular non-holiday domestic travel and AT LEAST 2 months before any holiday domestic travel. Obviously, international travel is still subject to the conditions that are present in other countries along with their specific restrictions on vaccinated or non-vaccinated individuals. We strive to put our clients on the absolute newest and best aircraft we can while still making sure that it is appropriate for the mission profile. "Mission Accomplished" here the other day with one of our clients who flew here to Dallas on this practically brand-new Bombardier Challenger 350. The Challenger 350 is an upgraded version of the extremely popular Challenger 300 and is a fantastic Super-Mid aircraft to use on trips where you want plenty of space, but don't need a Heavy Jet. This particular one was a 2019 YOM with only 360 flight hours on it! It still smelled brand-new! Anyone can put you on some old, ragged-out aircraft and take your money. We just recently completed a trip for one of our clients on this beautiful Bombardier Challenger 605. This is a great heavy jet option that's usually very well priced for it's size and offers great range, cabin size, and baggage capacity. Here lately we've been putting our clients on the venerable Learjet 60 for their trips. The Learjet 60 is a great Midsize aircraft that features a 5'9"H x 5'11"W x 17'8"L cabin that can be configured to seat either 7 or 6 passengers. Its 51,000ft maximum ceiling allows it to cruise at high-altitude for enhanced fuel economy, range, and that also allows it to simply "go over" any potential weather systems that may be present along the way. While not quite a "coast-to-coast" aircraft, the Learjet 60 can handle just about any 3-4+ hour trip with relative ease. One of our new local clients decided he and some friends wanted to do an overnight golf trip down in southwest Texas a few weeks ago.
