🌟 Fun Fact! 🌟 Did you know that the charming Dollhouse in Hopelands Gardens was ordered by the Iselins from a Sears and Roebuck catalog in the early 20th century? Originally, it served as a schoolhouse and playhouse for the daughter of Hope Goddard Iselin and her friends! 🏠✨ The Iselins maintained this winter residence in Aiken and named it "Hopelands." Upon her death, Hope Iselin bequeathed Hopelands Gardens to the City of Aiken.

🌴 Join us for our popular Take-A-Hike program on Saturday, July 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the beautiful Redcliffe Plantation State Historic Site, 181 Redcliffe Road, Beech Island, SC 29842. 🥾

This guided group hike will lead you along a scenic 1.7-mile trail through 369 acres rich with history. Discover the best hiking spots in and around Aiken, learn valuable hiking tips and basic first aid techniques.

This is a free event open to all ages—adults must accompany children 13 and under. Participants will enjoy light refreshments. Registration is required by July 24, 2024.
