CKECK THIS OUT!!!! LL Wright Truck #5 headed down to North Carolina to drop of Hurrican Helene Relife supplies and Christmas gifts. The first stop was in Bakerville, NC to drop of 6 pallets of toys to the Form Mountain Fire Department for the Christmas party on Saturday, December 14th. They are expecting over 200 families with children. The parents will be able to select gift to wrap while the kids are in other rooms doing crafts.

The second stop is in Statesville, NC. at Mission Christmas. They got two pallets of toys and approx. 10 pallets of supplies and approx. 100 boxes on top of the pallets. They received toys, coats, clothing, basic supplies and lots of other important items.

Here are a few pictures from Matt the drive. He said it was a difficult drive as he was driving approx. 30 mph in blowing snow in the mountain.

Thank you all who have donated items and helped us load the truck. Angie Wright, LL Wright Trucking Company, Inc./Wright Maintenance, Inc., Akron Beacon Journal, Denise Hobart, Kelly Kotch, Michael E Farmer, Ohio for Hurricane Helene Relief, Full Spectrum Marketing, Plastic & Plates

We need toys. As many of you know, we have been collecting supplies for hurricane Helena relief victims. We have been concentrating our efforts on basic necessities and have not been collecting any toys for Christmas.

We received a phone call from Habitat for Humanity just east of Asheville where they were having a Christmas party on December 14. The truck that is supposed to drop off toys is not coming. We do not know further details however they did reach out to us directly and ask us if we could please bring some toys down with us. We literally have only a couple hundred dollars worth of toys.

At this time, American Winds has collected $1400 worth of cash for the relief efforts. We have another student who donated $1000. American Winds is going to match this effort so we will have $3400 to buy toys. We truly need your efforts to donate more money or please bring some toys.

Anything for baby through teenagers for boys and girls.

Drop them off at the Flight school located at 1600 Triplett Blvd. building B. We are located behind the Coca-Cola plant. Please feel free to call our office. You can’t miss our building with a big 20’ x 30’ sign on it. We will open our airplane hanger door and you can unload all the toys in our hanger. We will put them on a pallet and load them into the truck.

This will be the last time we collect supplies until spring time. Please everyone even $20 will help.

Urgent help needed.

As you all know, we have been collecting supplies for the Hurricane Helena relief victims in the Asheville area. We’re in the process of filling truck number five. It is halfway full. With many many items, such as warm blankets, clothing, shoes, socks, propane.

We are in urgent need of toys. This afternoon we got a phone call for Habitat for Humanity and they have a major Christmas party on Saturday, December 14. I can post the city name tomorrow but I forgot at this moment. The person who is supposed to bring toys for families between 100 to 150 families will not be able to come.

This is tragic news. We need everyone to tell all of their friends, family, churches, and local businesses we need toys. I know everyone is collecting for toys for tots this week, but Asheville North Carolina hurricane victims need us also. Please we are begging you to bring some toys for babies through teenagers For boys and girls today through next Monday evening.

Please, we need your help. We need toys for 100 to 150 families. The concept is the kids go into one room and do arts and crafts. While the parents go into the other room of donations and select items that the kids may like, and then they will having an opportunity to wrap the presents. At this moment in time, they do not have enough toys for all of these families.

American Winds College of Aeronautics has a huge airplane hangar. LL Wright trucking company will drive the supplies down there next week. Please let’s fill this truck. If you have any questions, please call 330-733-2500.

We are located at the Akron Fulton Airport 1600 Triplet Blvd. building B. We are behind the Coca-Cola plant off of triplet. We have a 20’ x 30’ massive banner hanging on our building. You can’t miss us. We will take donations Monday through Saturday 7 AM through 6 PM. Every little bit will help.
