We're excited to launch our new partnership with Bay Area Outreach & Recreation Programs (BORP.org) with a destination paddle at Encinal Beach. East Bay Regional Park District will also be supporting us on this effort.
About the trip:

Sept 22, 12 pm, Encinal Beach, Alameda

BORP, Stacked Adventures, and EBRPD will combine our efforts to offer a beautiful accessible day on the water. This should be a gentler paddle suitable for many paddlers and we will have all the usual adaptive gear and transfer supports available. (High wind back up location: Arrowhead Marsh.)

About the partnership:

Stacked Adventures offers a 50% discount to BORP Members!

Stable open cockpit tandem kayaks (the same boats used at BORP!)
Regular open hours! A protected bay location! Able to safely store mobility aids such as crutches or wheelchairs onsite.

This Saturday, 8/17, come catch the pelicans before they start migrating back to baja on our Sea Plane Lagoon kayaking tour! We will paddle the area enjoying the marine life, learn abit about the area, check out the USS Hornet, & more!

Join us for an incredible evening of starting with a sunset over SF skyline & then a moon rising above the Oakland hills as we paddle up & down the Oakland Channel to Jack London Square enjoying the dusk lighting and the city ambiance....should be magical!

Enjoy a relaxing time on the water while the sun sets on the horizon and the moon rises. We'll paddle out to Jack London Square then return.

Many good times had this past weekend! We had only a few but fine folks for our Sea Plane Lagoon tour on Saturday...great conditions, lots of marine life, and gorgeous scenic beauty! Good times!

Encinal Boat Ramp offers stunning views, great marine life, & more! Only .25 miles from the ferry stop too making for a great day trip for San Francisco City folks too. For non-profits & community groups receive a 10% discount for your group tours too.

The harbor seal population is growing, almost 50 of them hanging around Alameda Point / Sea Plane Lagoon area. Almost all of our tours (& renters) cruise by the harbor seal dock...many of them are viewable from shore too. Please be sure to keep the noise levels down when near them and keep a safe distance so they do not get scared at home 🙂

One of our favorite groups, Mastick Center folks! Friday's Sea Plane Lagoon tour, started out smooth and wind came in strong pushing back making for an fun landing, they handled it all soo well!!!

Pelicans are coming!! Lots of them, like 7-8 thousand :) We are home to largest Brown Pelican migration in Northern California…it is a sight to be hold and can be best seen by kayaking with Stacked Adventures either by tour or rental….come check it out before they fly back to Baja!!!
