Travel tip for those of you with iPhones.

If you are in a foreign country and need to find out what it would cost for an item that has their dollar amount, take out your calculator on your iPhone. Follow these steps in the pictures.
1. Push the bottom left corner of the calculator.
2. Swipe it to convert
3. Then convert it to whatever you need it to be for where you are at. Type in your numbers and there you go. 😃

Fun entertainment tonight on the cruise ship. This group of guys had so much energy and could sing really good! They are an Australian group that has been singing together for 10 years. They put on a great show! We saw them a few nights ago as well.

Airports can be stressful with all the security things you have to deal with. One thing you can do that helps get through security faster is TSA precheck or Global Entry if you are traveling on more international trips.

Yesterday was a city tour with a local guide. It is supposed to be Summer over here but I think we brought then Oregon rain and wind with us. It’s been SO windy here and definitely not Summer at the moment.

He took us to Bondi Beach. One of the post popular beaches in Sydney. We got some pics but definitely wasn’t spending time out there.

We seen lots of city highlights. A few are seeing Mrs Macquarie’s chair., The wharf at Wooloomooloo. It’s was a former wharf for passengers and exporting of wool. It’s now a hotel and apartments. We also seen several suburbs around Sydney. Housing is not cheap here.

We shall see how this next part of the vacation goes for weather. The ocean seas might be a little rough on the way to New Zealand. Let’s hope for smooth waters!

Just a few pics from the last couple of days in Australia.

We have gone a Harbor tour and seen the Iconic Sydney Opera house, went to a zoo up in the Blue Mountains. It was pouring down rain while we were there, (felt like we were at home in Oregon) but we were determined to go see Kangaroos and Koalas. We got to pet a koala and feed and pet Kangaroo's. We continued the trek up though the Blue mountains and came to a place called Scenic world. It is a historical landmark. Amazing views and was like the Grand Canyon of sorts including ancient rainforest, impressive rock formations and sandstone cliffs, canyons, waterfalls and ravines We rode the Skyway, cableway and a railway around the area. It was pretty cool, and it was a beautiful area! The day did clear up and didn't rain the rest of the afternoon while we made our way back to the Sydney harbor.

Just some meals you can order on a cruise in the main dining room. Everything has been great! Princess Cruise does a fantastic job. Their service has been amazing.

We are on Deck 8. The lido deck where the food is at is on deck 15. Did we take the stairs or the elevator?

Had some great entertainment on the Emerald Princess last night. She has an amazing voice. Great tribute to Whitney. iam_ninaskyy
