Walt Disney World is the destination!
I had an amazing time exploring Hollywood Studios Jollywood Nights and Epcots Food and Wine festival plus the rest of the parks and more!

Pura Vida! 💚💙
Costa Rica is truly an amazing country!
Days 5,6 and 7. We had so many experiences!

Whale watching was exhilarating! We walked into the water and boarded the boat from the water, sped through the water and saw a few whales come up for a breath. 🐋 I loved the rock formations and views from the water!

We drove up to Trogon Lodge, up meaning we climbed to just over 10k feet and stayed at a gorgeous nature resort just under 8k feet. It was FULL of flora, fauna, birds and other wild life. I could have wondered around this garden haven for days!

3 of us conquered a 5am roll call to find the illusive Quetzal bird and…we found it! It was worth the early morning alarm!

Off to Copley Winery for a tasting and a few bites! We all got our fill and had so many laughs! We started this trip as strangers but have become fast friends! Our group was so fun!

The next and last stop was a pretty resort back in San Jose. Xandera Resort and spa has a great location, awesome views (of course) and an eclectic artsy look!

I cannot say enough about Costa Rica’s natural beauty , warm people and soul filling atmosphere! I will be back, sooner than later! Cheers to all of the new friendships formed in a beautiful country!

Costa Rica/ Pura Vida: Day 3 and 4. 🌺🌴🦥🐒🍍

We started the day with our driver, Moma spotting a pair of Macaw’s on our way to Lourdes. We were treated to an awesome tour from Tucanes Tours at a local small farm where we made from scratch plantain ceviche and a couple of chocolate items from chocolate we milled from the bean! The food, people and experience was truly amazing!

Next, we were Quepos bound to check into our next resort (and my favorite) ‘Si Como No’. This property is a slice of heaven on earth. Everywhere you look; gorgeous lush flora and fauna, colorful songbirds and howler monkeys! Great food, tasty beverages (guava sour pictured) and a relaxed atmosphere. Love this place!

The next morning we drove over to Manuel Antonio National Park to get and eye full of so many beautiful and interesting sights! On the way, of course Moma, found a few monkeys for us! The park was an animal spotting highlight! Jose/Macho guided us through the park full of info and interesting facts. We saw sloths, crabs, spiders, monkeys, a rainbow cricket, lizards and so much flora and fauna! It was overwhelming in all the right ways!

After our fabulous stroll through the park we headed
to Jungle Vista Resort for a quick tour and a cool beverage! This resort was small yet mighty sleek!

Next we headed to the Los Altos, WOW! The vistas and inspiring! We had an delish lunch here and I know I will be back to stay here! Upscale yet very relaxed!

We ended the day at a cute little place called Cristal Ballena for a spirited dinner with great company!

Costa Rica: Days uno y dos!
We flew into San Jose, the capital city and met up with my fellow travel advisors, now good friends! Jose/Matcho, our amazing private guide and Olman/Moma, our driver met us at the airport and off we went to The Delta Aurola by Marriott. It’s conveniently located downtown so we dropped our bags and stimulated the economy, immediately! 🛍️

Day 2 started with a little walk in the park and a lesson in rambutan pealing. We headed back toward the airport to the very lush Doubletree San Jose Airport for an amazing networking event. We met and mingled with over 40 local vendors; transfer companies, hoteliers, tour companies and more! It was an invaluable work day for me!

After a delish lunch poolside, we headed off to our ocean front resort Jaco. Croc’s Resort and casino offered us great eats, sips and views, including the eclectic art! We did make a quick stop to meet a few crocs in a river too. The water was too high to see a bask of crocs but we did see 2. 🐊

I was invited (so honored) to join an amazing adventure in Costa Rica recently! 🇨🇷
This county offers so much to see and do! It’s crazy gorgeous, extremely biodiverse and my expectations were exceeded! Our group was 9 mighty advisors and 3 incredible local professionals guiding us through Pura Vida!
6 nights, 6 different very unique resorts sprinkled with culture, nature, eats and vistas! 🌦️🌸🌿🦜🦥

Day 8 and 9: Amsterdam and more Amsterdam! Thank you Delta for bumping me; an extra night in the Netherlands added to the adventure! 😅
Canals, flowers 🌷and Pride 🏳️‍🌈, oh my! Unbeknownst to us Amsterdam was buzzing more than normal and celebrating Pride! So very much to experience!

Day 7 Cartwheeling through Düsseldorf! 🤸‍♂️
Düsseldorf, l learned, is famous for cartwheels, altbier (hoppy) beer and a mile long bar among many other things. We visited the market, enjoyed a city walking tour sampled tasty bites and of course endured another beer tour! Probst! 🍻

Side note: The mile long bar refers to a part of old town where people can choose from about 300 bars and discos to enjoy all within a 1/2 square mile!

Soo many things to see on day 6!
Cruising through the Rhine Gorge / UNESCO World Heritage site, aka castle mania. Docked for the day in Koblenz which sits on the banks of the Rhine and Moselle; road a gondola to a fortress, got splashed on by a spitting boy fountain and enjoyed interesting works of art. We ended the night in Engers for a private classical music performance in a very enchanting venue. It was another great day in the Rhine!
