A landscape of bliss. 😌

Suizenji Joju-en, located in Kumamoto Prefecture, is a landscape garden that has a history dating back to the 17th century. The garden complex includes Izumi Shrine, which you can visit alongside strolling the peaceful pond and other garden features. Within the garden, there is a hill shaped suspiciously like Japan’s most famous mountain, can you spot it? 👀

There is also a traditional noh theatre that puts on plays a few times a year, and tea houses that you can order sweets and drinks from. It is a perfect retreat for a relaxing day out! 😊
