Flight Choice welcomes Jacob Shores, our Assistant Director of Operations and Commercial Multi-Engine Pilot. Jacob comes to us as a former Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve Aviation Command at Fort Knox, bringing years of leadership and aviation expertise. His military career included roles as an AH-64E Instructor Pilot, Platoon Leader, Company Commander, with multiple combat deployments.

In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor East Tennessee adventures with his wife, Megan, and their three sons.

We fly to Charleston weekly, often with empty legs as we reposition aircraft. This weekend is a perfect opportunity to score a travel hack by booking an empty leg charter with Flight Choice. Today, some of our favorite Flight Choice flyers chose not to come empty-handed to their destination. It was refreshing to witness firsthand the aviation community come together at Jackson County Airport, several pilots and volunteers filling truckloads of supplies to be distributed to those in need.

Thank you all for the amazing response last night! We successfully delivered some supplies to Asheville. For anyone still looking to help, we have another relief flight at 3 PM TODAY to Jackson County (Western Carolina University). After speaking with the county office and airport manager, they are welcoming donations of any non-perishable foods, Gatorade, water, etc... Please call our office, 865-313-5296 if you have any drop-offs you'd like us to take. Let’s keep the support going! 🙌✈️💙
