We’re thrilled to welcome Dirk Lahr to the Flight Choice team!

Dirk brings with him a truly remarkable aviation career, recently retiring from American Airlines with over 31,000 total flight hours under his belt — including 27,000+ hours in turbojets and 1,400+ hours in turboprops.
Over the years, Dirk served as a Captain, Check Airman, and Aircrew Program Designee across a wide range of aircraft at American and USAirways. His earlier roles as a flight and simulator instructor at both FlightSafety and Purdue University underscore his lifelong commitment to excellence in aviation. Featured in this photo is Dirk and his lovely bride of 29 years on his final flight with American Airlines. Welcome aboard!

Employee Spotlight! Meet Nancy Morgan. At Flight Choice, Nancy serves as our Aviation Operations Coordinator, AKA the one who keeps all the pilots in line (no easy task). She helps facilitate charter quotes, scheduling, trip-planning and billing, making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes while managing to keep a team of aviators very organized. She was born and raised in East Tennessee, where she still lives today with her husband, Ronnie, and their youngest daughter, Kyleigh. Together, they have three daughters: Jade, Taylor, and Kyleigh. Nancy holds an Associate of Arts degree in Legal Studies from Roane State Community College.

She and her family live on a horse farm in a quiet corner of Scott County, Tennessee, where they enjoy riding horses, fishing, kayaking, motorcycle rides, reading, and spending time together as a family.
We are very thankful to have Nancy as a valued team member of Flight Choice.

Flight Choice welcomes Jacob Shores, our Assistant Director of Operations and Commercial Multi-Engine Pilot. Jacob comes to us as a former Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve Aviation Command at Fort Knox, bringing years of leadership and aviation expertise. His military career included roles as an AH-64E Instructor Pilot, Platoon Leader, Company Commander, with multiple combat deployments.

In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor East Tennessee adventures with his wife, Megan, and their three sons.

We’re so proud to have Jacob on the team; Help us give him a warm welcome!
