The City of Algoma has updated the traffic pattern on 5th St. near Denny's. The block is now back to two-way traffic and parking on the street is allowed again.

**UPDATE 2/14/2025**
Traffic patterns on Fifth Street are back to normal! Both lanes are usable and parking can resume on the street during business hours.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:

There is a temporary traffic pattern change making the 500th block of Fifth Street a one way street. Traffic will need to travel north from Clark Street to Steele Street.

There is also no parking on either side of the street for the duration of this temporary one way street.

This pattern change and no parking will continue through the rest of January and possibly a few weeks into February. As soon as it is lifted this post will be updated.

Due to Winter Storm Cooper, the Algoma Visitor Center (VC) will be closed Saturday, February 15, 2025.

The entryway and restrooms remain open daily from sunup to sundown. There is limited area literature in the entryway and feel free to visit the Chamber's website for information on the area and upcoming events: https://visitalgomawi.com.

Your understanding is greatly appreciated. We look forward to welcoming guests back Friday, February 21, 2025. The current VC winter hours are Friday and Saturday, 10 AM - 4 PM.

Congratulations to Algoma High School senior Claire Connors on qualifying for the 2025 Bowling Centers Association of Wisconsin (BCAW) High School Bowling Club State Championships!

The first round of the Girls Singles Championship Tournament is being held at Revs Bar & Bowl in Oshkosh. Claire takes to the lanes on March 7, 2025, at 4:30 PM.

Roar off the Shore Brewfest is a beer, wine, and food festival that raises funds for the event hosts, the Dyckesville and Kewaunee Lions Clubs. 🍺🍷🧀
