To all our friends and clients of the Perky Parrot After Dark, we wanted to let you know that after 14 years, we have decided to do some expansion and remodel. Since we closed the coffee shop several years ago, the old coffee shop counter and front end seem to be wasted space so we have decided to change that.
The coffee counter will be transformed in the next few weeks to become a second bar. We will keep much of the look of the original coffee bar, but lift the counter to proper bar height and add a canopy overhead to mimic the current bar.
The back wall will also be transformed with lighted glass shelves holding in excess of more than 150+ bottles of liquor, many new to PPAD. Adding to our already expansive list of Bourbons, Rye's, Single malts and many others. Added Tequilas, Mezcals, Rum and Scotch to name a few.
All of this means an additional 8 bar stools and better utilization of the entire front of PPAD. While construction has started, the big transformation will happen from Sunday, March 16 - Wed March 25th. We will reopen Thursday March 26th in time for our regular 3 day weekend.
The expansion will also give us an opportunity to now host 3 bartenders.
This week (Thurs-Sat) will be the last time to get your favorite cocktail before close, but keep the date of March 25th open to see the expansion.
