IF you are in our neck of the woods - here in Sedona and the Verde Valley - join our MLK day of service at Dead Horse Ranch
MLK Day of Service
Oak Creek Watershed Council show volunteers enjoying last year's MLK Day of Service at Dry Creek. Don't miss out! Get outside and give back this Monday. Friends of the Verde River, Dead Horse Ranch State Park, Oak Creek Watershed Council, Prescott National Forest, and the Town of Camp Verde have all partnered to coordinate and host a river stewardship volunteer day for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service.
As river lovers know, the Verde River and its tributaries are a major resource for the communities of the Verde Valley, and it is important work to protect this resource. Join a wonderful community of river stewards committed to a healthy Verde River or on your own!
This January, Friends of the Verde River is giving you even more opportunities to get outside and give back on MLK Day, January 17th. No matter where you live, whether you want to be outside with a group or go it on your own, Friends of the Verde River has a river stewardship activity for you.
