Gulfstream G550 fuel quantity system troubleshooting today at New World Aviation ABE. Three of our best on the task and already identified the issue. All smiles of course. Fuel quantity and oxygen leaks are always a good challenge.

Corrosion is the biggest challenge no matter how new or old the aircraft is. This Gulfstream V aft lav fairing was quite the task. Great to have a strong sheetmetal team to get things corrected and back in service!

MAUS V C-Scan is now part of the New World Aviation MRO Capabilities. There are multiple uses on the horizon as we invest in our NDT program. It is currently being used for a Gulfstream GIV 5K Landing NDT inspection, providing a superior method to the traditional X-Ray. The C-Scan targets only the materials that are outlined in the inspection procedure and allows for a much more accurate interpretation of the inspection area. The scan can view each individual layer of material separately providing pinpoint accuracy information for engineering evaluations. And with MAUS V C-Scan, the interior access for X-Ray film is not required. Big investment by New World Aviation! Big savings to the aircraft owner!
We ended the week at New World Aviation with good progress on a GIV 5,000 landing inspection, 72 month inspection, windshield change on a GV, elevator actuator change on a G550, with Ryan & Howard working GV TR repairs. Starting 2024 with a good stride. Service with a smile! Great team efforts!
