#ILoveGay Today - Shiho Ikeuchi: IGLTA Convention - Osaka 2024
#ILoveGay Today meets up with Shiho Ikeuchi, GM of the Ace Hotel in Kyoto and board member of the IGLTA. Join us as we chat about her work in shining a spotlight over the years about the vibrant LGBTQ+ community in Japan, including their recent Rainbow Pride festival in Tokyo. It was through the work of Shiho and other key LGBTQ+ leaders in Japan that have helped bring the upcoming IGLTA Convention to Osaka in October 2024. The opportunities at this convention are limitless, as it's expected to draw a wide variety of tourism professionals from Asia to this convention to learn for perhaps their first time the power of the global LGBTQ+ travel community and how they can better attract LGBTQ+ tourists to their destinations.
Currently, there are five cities that are participating Osaka convention: Tokyo, Ishikawa, Hokkaido, Fukuoka, and Okinawa.
