Do you suffer from "should I lock my luggage" every time you travel? We all worry about theft and it happens frequently. This is an excellent article about the pros and cons of locking your luggage. One note though...I used a TSA approved lock a few years ago when traveling to Jamaica. Not a good idea as Jamaica doesn't have TSA approved lock keys (TSA is only USA) and so they cut my lock off. I wasn't thinking that one through, for sure!

Happy holidays are coming! This year has flown by so fast, hasn't it? I've been busier than ever with creating new and adventurous journeys for my clients. I've had people going to Japan, Italy, Scotland, Ireland, Vietnam, Thailand and many different cruises in Europe, Mexico and the Caribbean. Travel is up...way up!

Today, we look back on the two decades that have passed since the terrorist attacks on 9/11. The phrase that has become embedded in our language and the American Culture is "Never Forget."

We look back and honor not only the victims of these vicious attacks, but the heroes as well. This event crippled travel and tourism in the US, but we overcame, just as we always do. We will always remember our fellow travel industry family members that were crew on United Flight #175, United Flight #93, American Flight #11 and American Flight #77. We will honor them along with the 55 military personnel, 72 law enforcement officers, 343 firefighters and 2,507 civilians that lost their lives 20 years ago today.
