Guys..end of summer cabin projects are NOT for the weak.. 😂 Sharing our stair case renovation process from this month and so excited to welcome our guests to the updated space! The stairs at @blueberryhillcabin were SMALL; my foot hung off the edge! I don’t have the smallest foot so we can let a little of that slide but this project was a top priority for years; life kept rescheduling us. New treads, risers, backing, full sanding, stain, the traditional three poly coats for durability, and updated floor dirt guard in the loft entry level! The decision to remove the floor register for the central AC unit was added in as well to improve efficiency of the unit. The custom built box now houses additional ductwork and allows the register to be placed out of the path of constant debris and dirt. The end results are exactly how we hoped and we are so excited to have our guests enjoy the recent updates. Not pictured: the outside trek all week to access the kitchen and living room because the staircase was off limits! 😂😂Cabin life..renovation style..so much more to come! 🌄💙. Late summer availability.
