4 days till Father’s Day! I am not usually able to do commissions (drawings from pictures) but I fit it in for Father’s Day last year … and I kinda want to make it a thing. SO: need a last-minute Dad’s Day gift? 🎨 ❤️

I’m looking forward to drawing people as *superheroes and heroines* at Free Comic Book Day tomorrow at Not Just Gamin' in downtown Greer! (Have I mentioned I’m SO excited that they set up shop in downtown Greer recently?? I’ve been wanting a nearby game store for ages, and their store is seriously very cool and welcoming to everybody, no matter your level of game or comic geekiness!)
Anyway, hope to see you there starting at 11am!

Happy Thursday everybody!
Thank you to the sweet wedding reception guest who took my photo and then texted it to me! It’s hard to take photos of me working when I pretty much draw (happily!) nonstop at all my events!!
Plus: an adorable doggie, a toddler in a Hazmat suit, and a group sketch.

Time to paint a tree on my kids’ bedroom wall! First pic is the newly-painted teal wall (previously it was an unfortunate mustard yellow) with post-it’s marking the center.
Next is the trunk which looks spooky without leaves.
Next pic shows my daughter stamping on a leaf, which we cut out of sponges.
Finally: the finished tree! It covers the whole wall and the girls love it! Such a fun project to do together.

LOVED drawing a pile of caricature commissions for Father’s Day! Here’s some snippets of a few that I got to draw - I’m hoping I’ll be able to do this more major holidays all year! (As schedule permits, since I stay pretty busy drawing at events.)
I draw these on real paper using real pens and color sticks - I love digital caricatures too but I find that as more and more things go digital, it’s really special to have artwork drawn hand-to-paper.

Father’s Day is THIS SUNDAY!! Who else has a dad-type-person in their lives who is hard to buy for??
I don’t usually do commissions but I have some bandwidth this week, so I’m able to offer Father’s Day caricatures!
First-come first-serve till my schedule fills up.
$15/person (drawn in black and white)
OR
$20/person (drawn in color.)
I can include a detail like a favorite hobby, and/or any text you would like. (No additional charge.)
Pickup is in Greer - the Taylor’s side of Greer - near Buena Vista Elementary.
If you aren’t within driving distance but still need it by Sunday, I can scan a hi-res copy for printing.
I would need one or more photos of the person to draw from.
