> Trust everyone had a safe & great 4th celebration honoring our Independence Day of our GREAT USA, but we must be mindful of what is happening now and over the weekend in both Mexico & Texas!

> 1st off, we are keeping all of those who are in Beryl's path in our thoughts & prayers for safety along with organizations like ALAN (American Logistics Aid Network) who provide significant relief to those in need!
Reach out to my friend Robert O. Martichenko, who is now leading the organization, if you want to help, provide resources and/or supplies to help others!

> Those of us in Logistics are especially on edge with these events as it causes significant changes & delays in the Supply Chain & Distribution networks.
We as consumers sometimes forget when we touch our screen or click to place an order, we expect it to be delivered. These weather events & what we refer to as "Acts of God" can be disruptors to our consumer mindset/expectations when it comes to delivery.

> Let's remember their are men, women & automation working around the clock as First Responders and Logistics Professionals to make up for these disruptions just so we as consumers can get our stuff. !!

> Be prayerful & patient as the start of season is upon us.

HAPPY NATIONAL LOGISTICS DAY 2024 !

> WOW, what a blessed day to be a guest speaker at the University of North Georgia Dahlonega Campus Logistics HS Summer Camp & a live Podcast guest!

> Awesome, intelligent and engaging HS students from the area are attending (on their own!) a week long Logistics Camp listening to speakers in the AM then heading out to onsite real life Manufacturing & Supply Chain companies in the afternoons. Boots on the ground.

> Simply: I loved their curiosity, questions, personalities, enthusiasm and their willingness to learn & experience while their friends are at pool side or doing other summer things! A young student even came up to me as we were wrapping up, and pitched to me why I should buy her stick of watermelon gum from her. We used that as a teaching moment only to look up and see all the other campers surround us and join in on the educational exchange. They learned the difference between "selling" an item, and providing a customer solution, even with just a stick of gum.
(She said she goes into production tomorrow😀 Love it !

Humbled and Honored in St. Louis ! 😃
Awarded the Supplier of The Year Award !

> Humbled to accept The Supplier of The Year Award on behalf of one of our long time solution providers, Ascent Global Logistics at the annual UMMA- United Marine Manufacturer's Association conference in St. Louis earlier this week.

> The President of the association announces the annual winner from a committee vote that is not revealed until the closing dinner event.
I was over-the-top with excitement when he announced Ascent Global Logistics & VALENTINE SOLUTIONS LLC and asked to come forward.

> As part of the award was able to designate a charitable organization to receive a contribution from the UMMA on our behalf. Chose the https://knotlucky.org/ which its' purpose is to provide "Healing and empowering veterans in their fight against PTSD through fishing and fellowship."

STRIKE TO IT......... the latest on Yellow
> failed in an attempt to stop the from striking via Federal Court.

> A could come as soon as Monday.

> In the big picture the battle may have been won Friday, but the war will more than likely cost 30,000 jobs and about $5B in freight revenue to find new carrier homes.

> All signs point to getting much closer to in which the attorneys are the only winners.

> Unlike the old Consolidated Freightways (CF) which cost 15,000 jobs and was the 3rd largest-ever US bankruptcy in September 2002 (When I started in this industry) and locked their gates literally overnight; everyone at least has had a heads up if Yellow files.

Can we fill the shoes of expectation ?
Do we walk in our customers shoes?

> Answer is DEFINATELY YES!
WHY? Because we actually shipped the shoes to our awesome customer Super Duper Publications for their 2022 holiday event.

> My lovely bride of 31yrs & myself next to "The Shoes" which were one of several fixtures for this awesome annual Christmas/Holiday event we had the privilege of moving across the country. It is just one of the solutions we provide at Valentine Solutions llc.
This year it was named the "Super Duper Flamingle Holiday Party".

Having some Fideles Christian School Fun!
Was honored to spend time with the class a couple weeks ago to meet, greet & have an open discussion on life experiences!

What a memorable & great experience to spend time with these awesome students!

for inviting me to join in on the , and look forward to future visits!

We also treated & shared a "few" donuts together since it was a Friday. 14 dozen 😲🤣
