The Recker House

The Recker House is a five bedroom guesthouse that can be rented by the day, week or month. It is located in Alta Vista, Iowa, which is a small town in northeast Iowa that has earned its nickname, "The Friendly Town." r for a reunion, wedding, funeral, etc. A second three bedroom guesthouse, Grandma Z's, is located directly across the street. The home has central air and heat, 4 queen beds and one double. Two queens are located on the main level together with a full bath with a tub and shower combination and an additional shower in one of the bedrooms. On the lower level are two queens, a double, a family room with a 32" flat screen TV and dvd player, kitchen area, bath with shower and a dining area. There is a patio area with a charcoal grill (guests bring charcoal). The house has wireless internet and a computer and satellite tv up and downstairs. The house features keyless entry and is programmed to a code selected by each guest. A bike trail is located 4 miles away.
