Rick Roberts and Mike Connolly have over 25 years of professional baseball experience! is dedicated in the development of everyone who is involved in their numerous lessons and programs. The goal is to get the most out of your child's ability, and we are dedicated in speeding up the process of your child developing as it relates to baseball or softball. With our 3:1 instructor to client ratio, we

offer the most detailed instruction for our area. We offer numerous programs at all points in the calendar year along with team rentals and private lessons. Feel free to stop in and check out our facility and how our programs work.

Saturday december 21st Softball Pitching Clinic with Notre Dames Kami Kamzik ! The camp will be conducted in ERA Windber building

Session 1 (Ages 7-12, 1.5 hours)
Quick intro, who I am, what we will be doing, discussion of important mechanics to remember when pitching - power line, glove arm, explosion off the mound, drawback
Dynamic stretch - 5-10 minutes
Throw overhand - 5-10 minutes
Progressive underhand warm up - 10-20 minutes
Wrist snaps
W snaps no dragging
W snaps add drag
Move to K’s full circle no drag
Move to K’s full circle with drag (importance of moving arm and legs together) (shoulders facing wall not the catcher or net)
Walk throughs - 5-10 minutes
Full warmup fastballs 5-10 minutes
Move onto targets (describe the importance of hitting spots) - 10-20 minutes
If some have a change up let them warm it up, if not introduce ways to throw a changeup
Competition - around the world (how many pitches does it take to hit 6 different spots both in and out)

Session 2 (Ages 13-17, 1.5 hours)
Quick intro, who I am, what we will be doing, discussion of important mechanics to remember when pitching - power line, glove arm, explosion off the mound, drawback
Dynamic stretch - 5-10 minutes
Throw overhand - 5-10 minutes
Warmup fastballs only
Hit targets - 10 to each spot (discuss the importance of hitting spots, aim small, miss small)
Move onto change up and discuss the importance of a change of speeds - they can throw whatever change up they want, if one doesn’t have a changeup - introduce
Drop..
Curve…
Screw…
Rise…
Mix all pitches and hit spots. Keep track of count
