Have you ever wondered why people use a travel agent?

I get that. With the internet, it’s really easy to plan and book your own vacations. So why bother talking to a travel agent?

Travel agents are well trained and knowledgeable about lots of locations and travel companies. We can usually have a short conversation with you and know exactly what you’re looking for and can send you some suggestions for the perfect resort/ship/itinerary to meet your needs and check the items on your wish list! The number of times I’ve heard “oh wow I didn’t know that. I’m so glad I called you” from a client…

And the best part is there is no additional cost! It’s FREE to use a travel agent. Travel companies pay agents to sell their products, so you can book direct and line the pockets of a big company OR you can book through a travel agent and support a small business! It’s a win win!!

My absolute FAVORITE luggage is on sale right now, and I just have to share it with y’all! If you haven’t looked into then you should start checking it out! I bought my first piece, the Bigger Carry On (pictured in red), before my trip to Arizona in 2022 and have completed my collection by adding the Carry On in Olive, Medium in Navy and Large in Coast blue. (I also have another Bigger Carry On in pink because I bought the wrong size…some mistakes are not regrettable!) I have used my Bigger Carry On to pack carry-on only for Arizona, Disneyland and my trip to Philly and Boston this summer which was a five night trip! They hold a lot thanks to the compression system and multiple zipper pockets inside. They roll like a dream through airports and down the airplane aisle, fit easily into overhead bins, and clean up is a breeze with the scuff eraser they include with every suitcase. They have a TSA approved lock as well. Each suitcase comes with a lifetime warranty, so if one breaks, contact Away for a replacement!!!

We had the best few days. We met all the princesses, rode EVERYTHING, and most importantly made memories of a lifetime with my entire family. I am so excited for two sweet families that I’ve got booked for a FANTASTIC trip to Disneyland next year!!

I like Disneyland better than Disney World.

There. I said it.

It’s smaller and so much easier to tackle! It’s the perfect combination of familiar attractions and unique experiences that you will only get on the west coast!

And with its much smaller and more compact layout, Disneyland is super easy to navigate. These families will LOVE how easy it is to get to the parks from their rooms at the Disneyland Hotel! And they will be participating in a runDisney race while they are there, so they are really amping up the magic!! (I had to throw in a couple of my runDisney pics from Disney World! I loved that so much!)

I hope they have the most magical trip!

If you’ve been considering a ski or snowy trip for Christmas but thought it was too late to book, I have good news for you! IT IS NOT!!

A family booked several nights in Winter Park, Colorado just today! Flights and four nights in a ski in ski out lodge!! This beautiful resort is going to make a great home for them for the days prior to Christmas!

Give the gift of time this year for Christmas!! Material things will come and go, but the memories of time together with the people you love in a magical place…those last!!
