Interested in earning your Certificate in Principles of Public Relations?

Our amazing club advisor, Erin Wilgenbusch, is offering a FREE 4 week course to help prep for the exam.

This opportunity is available to any dues paying members who have graduated/plan to graduate with a degree in public relations/advertising/journalism. Participants must have graduated or be planning to graduate in December 2021, May 2022, or August 2022.

The course will take place on Monday evenings from 6pm to 8pm on April 4, April 11, April 18, and April 25.

March Meeting Recaps!!

On March 8th, we heard from Kassi Hoxmeier, along with Clara Johnson and Liz Jacavino about Communications at Mercy One. They spoke about how each of them attained their position along with their previous experience and advice.

At last night’s meeting, we heard from 2020/2021 PRSSA President, Maddie Casady. She explained her duties as a Marketing Coordinator at Todd & Sargent. We also got to spend time going through her online portfolio.

It was awesome to get to do some networking with PR professionals and learn more about agency life.

Meet, Trilix, who will also be attending our agency tours tomorrow (February 22nd)!

Trilix is a marketing agency with locations in both Des Moines, Iowa and Birmingham, Alabama. Trilix offers creative, interactive, video, media, communications and client services. The agency has come a long way since first starting out of business acquisition in 2004.
