Another 5⭐️ Airbnb review from another group of fabulous guests! Jan and his group rented the Lux Lodge and Cabins at Scimitar recently for a weekend real estate mastermind & summer camp event. His inspiring group of 40ish real-estate professionals from all around the PNW gathered at the Ranch and spent 3 nights and 4 days enjoying everything the Ranch and the Skagit Valley area has to offer! Fun fact: Did you know we have our very own helicopter pad at Scimitar Ridge Ranch? But spoiler alert, we don’t have a helicopter🚁 😂

Our helicopter pad often serves as a beautiful area for dinner parties, photo shoots and ceremonies. In one direction, the Lux Lodge appears in the background. In the other direction, Similk Bay glistens in the background! All surrounded by meticulously manicured landscaping✨

We often tend to get engulfed into ‘new projects’ at the Ranch and forget how far things have really progressed over the past 16 months! We couldn’t be more proud of how beautiful the Lodge transformation turned out😍

Welcome to the world baby Bingo🖤 Baby Bingo was born at the Ranch the evening of March 18th. Unfortunately, his momma passed during birth💔 so our human team at the Ranch has stepped up to take care of this new lil’ guy. Yesterday, he began walking (with a splint on his fractured leg) and has been sleeping and eating as well as we could hope! It’s hard to put into words how or why this is such an exciting phenomenon around the Ranch these past few days. We are beyond blessed for level of love, patience and care that is radiating from our entire team as we welcome our new baby farm animals to Scimitar Ridge Ranch✨

Baby Bingo, we love you, are rooting for you and sooooo excited you’ve joined our Ranch family🖤

Happy 30th birthday to our A-1 since Day #1, Loren🥳 Birthday Boy, Loren has worked in maintenance at the Ranch since he was a teenager! We were blessed to have ‘inherited’ him (and his wonderful mom, too) when the Ranch changed owners last year. He is one of the smartest people we know - and if he doesn’t know the answer or how to solve an issue, give him an hour to research it and come back with a solution! Most of all, we appreciate and value that even in the toughest moments and situations, Loren consistently exhibits a positive attitude and is a regular source of smiles and laughs around the Ranch! This amazing video from our holiday party is just a short clip demonstrating the level of shenanigans we get to enjoy with Loren at the Ranch (Emily convinced Val to parade Loren around the room, in the air, while wrapped to a chair😂). Thank you Loren for always being YOU and being such a valuable piece to our Ranch operations! Wishing you the very, very best on your special day. Happy Birthday🎈

A sneak peek into The Ark renovations at Scimitar Ridge Ranch👏🏼

The Luxury Lodge at Scimitar Ridge Ranch has not just one, but TWO, primary suites that encompass the whole top floor of the Lodge! Each suite is over 1,200 square feet and features a cal-king bed, their own unique attached bathroom with separate soaking tub rooms/areas, walk-out balconies and beverage bars complete with mini-fridges, coffee/tea stations and a microwave. The two primary suites are joined in the middle by a large sitting room, with a bonus loft above – which has five more twin beds in it (with the BEST views on the whole property). Exit the sitting room and loop around the corner to find a set of queen hand-carved log bunk beds with a walk-out patio area attached. We seriously can’t get enough of these views😍 One of the questions we most often get asked is “what are we looking at”? Well, let us tell you!These views are of Similk Bay, a north extension of Skagit Bay off Southeast Fidalgo Island. The island to the left-front is Kiket Island, an 84-acre island owned by Washington State Parks. This island is accessible by foot during low-tide. The island in the middle is Skagit Marine State Park, a 21-acre island accessible by boat only, with a trail around the perimeter of the island and open to camping and exploration. And last but not least, the island to the far back is Hope Island! Hope Island is a 181-acre marine park, only accessible via boat, with campsites, mooring buoys, beaches and a trail across the island. How amazing is it that we have 3 islands within minutes of the ranch that are all open to the public to explore? #Blessed
