Direct flights to Anchorage this Summer! I know everyone's situation is different, but there are still people wanting to fly and this Summer they will have more options through Alaska Airlines.

The new services announced are flights from Anchorage to Las Vegas, Denver and San Francisco. Those flights will begin this summer.

This fun spot, right in Anchorage, is Cheney Lake. It's only 10 minutes from the duplex! You can do fishing from shore, kayaking or a nice walk around the lake.

All these places are a quick drive from Anchorage!

We have some exciting news! The AWCC, along with Alaska SeaLife Center and Alaska Raptor Center, will be starring in a new Nat Geo Wild Series: Alaska Animal Rescue!

Filming occurred last summer and the series premiere is set for Saturday, April 11, 9/8c (5pm Alaska time) and includes 6 one-hour episodes. The show follows staff from all three organizations as they respond to and care for animals in need.

If you have cable, don’t miss a 10-minute teaser clip at 6:45 pm Alaska Time (10:45/9:45c) tonight on the Nat Geo Wild channel!
