Christie Bond Hill and Joe Krones never met until this show.
Christie Bond Hill jumps to raise money to fight cancer at the Polar Bear Jump Off in Seward, AK. Here, ten years ago, she is jumping in the memory of Jimmy Krones - someone she didn't even know. Jimmy shown in the 2nd pic on the left next to his brother Joe, sang in a quartet together for years. Joe is wearing his 5th place International quartet medal. The 3rd pic is Joe's quartet, Old School, winning the 2011 International Gold Medal in Kansas City. The 4th pic is Christie caring for a sea otter pup as part of her job.
Christie is from Homer, AK. Joe lives in Oklahoma City. Today they meet for the first time. Christie gets to know about who she jumped for. Joe gets to meet the woman that jumped in memory of his brother. Wonderful story!

Doug Hartman (far right) is smiling. Why? We're asking the same question. Taken about 20 years ago, the Frozen Pipes were entertaining tourists at the Denali Princess Lodge. Cell reception was poor at best.
Too bad, because ABC's "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" was calling Doug to be Alaska first contestant AND win a million dollars. Doug joins us to share his funny story (at least, we're laughing!)

Then, our Big Alaska Show Guest Tourist, Michael Borts, tries to determine if our Tall Alaska Tale is true or not. Michael sings at openings of Dallas Mavericks and Texas Ranger games. (We haven't told him we're eligible to win our own prizes!)
