3.09. Hello everyone! Today, the individual group of the 7 Summits Club "Marvel Agents" climbed the slopes of Elbrus to the Refuge of 11 at 4100m. There we held snow and ice training sessions, worked on the technique of self-arrest with an ice ax. The weather was great, everything went great. We had a snack at the refuge with our chef Zuli and went down to the hotel to rest.

Before dinner, already near the hotel, we mastered the basics of mountaineering techniques and worked on safety systems and moving on fixed ropes. Tomorrow there will be an acclimatization climb to the Pastukhov Rocks.

Hello everyone! Yesterday, August 30, the 7 Summits Club group "Otmorozhennye" (“Frozen”) successfully climbed the Western Elbrus summit 5642m! When leaving, the team was divided into two groups of four people: pedestrians and those who wanted technical support. The hikers set off for the summit from the shelter, without using a snowcat. Unfortunately, two of them, having miscalculated their strength, retreated. They decided that they would try to climb to the summit next time!

The remaining participants reached their cherished goal and then successfully descended! At the dinner, with national cuisine and Caucasian hospitality, an award ceremony was held and medals and certificates were presented for climbing the highest point of Europe!

Greetings from Iran! The "Ripe Peaches" group, or rather part of it, is still in the country and is making a sightseeing tour of the ancient capitals of Persia.

Yesterday, early in the morning, we flew to Shiraz, the capital of the province of Fars, and spent the whole day in this ancient city of poets, love and roses. So many magnificent gardens and parks, magnificent mosques... in this aspect Shiraz has no competitors. We visited the Narenjestan Garden, the Garden of Eden, the tomb of Hafez, the great poet of the 14th century, revered by all Iranians, then had lunch in a traditional restaurant near the Vakil Bazaar. The bazaar itself has 400 years of history, a walk through it is an obligatory part of the program of stay in Shiraz. In the evening we walked in the city center around the Karim Khan Fortress, where on weekends, and Thursday is a day off in Iran, like Saturday in our country, thousands of city dwellers gather, and tasted the famous Shiraz dessert faloodeh. A wonderful end to the day!

Hello to everyone from "Ripe Peaches"! Today we had a day of impromptu. After a late breakfast, we decided to get closer to Iranian culture by visiting some of the sights. We made many new discoveries about how huge Tehran is, how friendly the locals are to tourists, and about the political and economic relations with other countries...

In the evening, we all gathered for a gala dinner in one of the best restaurants in Tehran with a stunning view. There, we presented awards and medals to our champions. We shared our impressions of the past trip and even made joint plans for the future!

Greetings to everyone from the Ripe Peaches team! Today we had a very long and eventful day. We got up early. We left the shelter in the direction of the summit under the moonlight at 3:10. We walked slowly, in an even formation, singing songs. And already at 9:50 we reached the summit of the highest volcano in Asia, 5609 m! We tried to take a photo as if we were the only ones at the top, but today there were quite a lot of people. Therefore, we did not linger long and began the descent. And at 12:30 we were already met at the camp with a hot delicious lunch.

The weather today was incredibly pleasing to us, and we still had plenty of strength, so we decided to continue the descent and get to Tehran. Everyone is alive and well, they haven't realized their feat yet, but we are already accepting congratulations!

08/27. Hello everyone! The 7 Summits Club group "Frosted" moved to the Refuge National Park at an altitude of 3900 m today. We settled in and went to the Refuge of Eleven at 4100 m. There we held snow-ice training. The weather today was wonderful, super, we worked out everything that was supposed to be done according to the plan.

After lunch, the group continued to master mountaineering techniques near the refuge. We worked out the safety systems and the scheme of movement on the fixed ropes. Tomorrow, according to the plan, we will go for high-altitude acclimatization to the Pastukhov Rocks, up to an altitude of 4700 m.

99 DAYS! Alex Abramov's new plan to set a record for the speed of completing the "Seven Volcanoes" program

The President of the 7 Summits Club Alexander Abramov has adjusted the previously announced project "Seven Volcanoes in Seven Months". Indeed, if a record is to be set, it should be extreme, at least in its part. Seven months is too easy, it can be halved!

Alexander Abramov plans to climb the highest volcanoes on all continents in less than 100 days. This will be "Project 99". On October 1, Alexander sets off with a group to climb the Giluwe volcano (Australian continent). And he intends to finish on the Antarctic mountain Mount Sidley in early January 2025.

October 12-13. These days are set aside for climbing Elbrus. The logistics are still unclear. Most likely, there will be an attempt at climbing SUPER BLITZ - 24 hours from the airport and back.

October 17-24. Damavand volcano, it is still unclear what program can be agreed upon with the Iranian host.

November 1-8. The highest volcano in Africa - Kilimanjaro. The 7 Summits Club group climbs the Marangu route.

NEXT - An emergency flight to Mexico. Alexander catches up with the SUPER GIRLS project group

November 7-16. Climbing Orizaba volcano according to the SUPER GIRLS project program!

December 10-24. The first group of the 7 Summits Club season on Ojos del Salado, the highest volcano in the world.

December 27, 2024 - January 10, 2024. New Year in Antarctica. Climbing Mount Sidley.

With ideal completion of all routes, it will take about 95 days from the first summit to the final one.

Alexander Abramov can safely be called the "godfather" of the Seven Volcanoes program. It was the president of the 7 Summits Club who conceived, and our company carried out, the historic 2011 expedition on Mount Sidley. Since the scientific discovery of this highest volcano in Antarctica, no one had been there. As a result of the 2011 ascent, the first people to climb all seven volcanoes appeared. These were the participants of our expedition, the experienced Italian climber Mario Trimeri and the 16-year-old Romanian girl Crina (Coco) Popescu. And this was the real start of the "Seven Volcanoes" program. Russia, represented by our company, is the world leader in the number of climbers who have climbed all seven volcanoes of the project. At the moment, out of 46 who have completed the project, 14 represent our country. There is something to be proud of!

So our big Moroccan adventure has ended. Today the participants of the "Tajin" group went their separate ways. Some went home. And some continued their vacation in Morocco.

We spent the last two days in the wonderful city of Essaouira. We walked along its white and blue streets, ate fish from the fish market, breathed in the ocean air. The bravest even swam in it.

Essaouira is a wonderful city that we really didn't want to leave. It was a little sad to say goodbye. But everyone is already making plans for new trips with the 7 Summits Club.

Greetings to everyone from Morocco from the Tajin group! Our desert adventures are over, but the journey around the country continues.
Having left the desert, we drove towards Marrakech, in order to then get to the ocean. But before Marrakech and especially before the ocean, many interesting things were still waiting for us.
Leaving the desert, we stopped at a factory where they make various beautiful products from stones, in which ancient petrified animals are found. There are a lot of them - such stones - here. And now you can see what living creatures inhabited our planet many millions of years ago. Well, and buy yourself such a "little animal" for home.
From the desert, we went to Ben Al Hadda - a place famous for one of the oldest and most beautiful fortresses. This fortress is also known for the fact that many famous films were shot there. For example, the film "Gladiator".
In the evening we checked into a cozy and authentic riad, and early in the morning, before breakfast, we went to the fortress. Or as they say here, to the kasbah. We wandered along the ancient streets, looked at the work of local artists.
After that, we went to Marrakesh as soon as possible, because we had a big tour of the city there.
We walked along the streets of the old city while the guide told us stories, visited the Bahia Palace, where we admired the colorful tiles and exquisitely decorated ceilings. But most of all, of course, we liked the Mojarelle garden - the garden of Yves Saint Laurent. Its bright colors and various cacti are very cool.
These are the two busy days we had. Today we are leaving for the ocean.

Greetings to everyone from the "Ripe Peaches" team! Today's acclimatization night was great. And despite the fact that we spent the night at an altitude of 3600 m, a cozy hotel with spacious rooms and a view of the mountains allowed us to forget about the altitude. As a morning workout, we made a training climb on Mount Tochal, 3964 m. Having descended to the foot of the mountain by cable car, we headed towards the House of the Iranian Mountaineering Federation, where we received our permits for the climb. Before dinner, we stopped at the thermal springs at the foot of Damavand. Then we got even more involved in the local culture by visiting a local cafe, where we tried many different kebabs...
We discussed plans for tomorrow and went to rest after such a busy day.

Hello to everyone from the "Ripe Peaches" team! Today we will set off to the slopes of Mount Tochal. In winter, this is a gorgeous ski resort, and now, an empty chalet is completely at our disposal! The weather is favorable to us, so after a hearty lunch, we went for a walk. We walked so well that we climbed to the top of Shah Nishin, which translates as "a place for a king." Our royal team took a rest right at the top, admired the views of Tehran and the nearby mountains, drank tea, and under the rays of the setting sun, wandered along the multi-colored slopes to a delicious hearty dinner. After eating, we decided to play the famous game "Uno" and went our separate ways to gather strength for tomorrow.

Not our day! Five groups of the 7 Summits Club were forced to retreat due to a thunderstorm and a ban by the Ministry of Emergency Situations

Five groups of the 7 Summits Club set off tonight with the goal of climbing Elbrus. However, during the ascent, the bad weather suddenly got worse. A strong thunderstorm began. Under these conditions, the Ministry of Emergency Situations workers issued an order to stop climbing and return to the shelter. In principle, no one objected much. Everyone understood that it was the right decision. So our teams got an extra day off. Let's hope that nature will be kinder to us next night.

Today, the SuperGirls team on Elbrus experienced a difficult night. But in the end, everything ended well. All the participants rested, slept, played. And this night we are planning to storm Elbrus again. The weather forecast is rather bad. But we will look for windows...

Even now, he is on a unique round-the-world expedition from New York to Canada, and in the spring, he will head to the summit of Everest for the 13th time. Summit! The group of the 7 Summits Club made a wonderful training ascent in Argentine Patagonia to the summit of Aguja De L’S

The group of the 7 Summits Club “Mamba” made a successful ascent to the top of Kilimanjaro on New Year’s Eve together with Santa Claus Our Mamba group climbed the highest mountain in Africa - Kilimanjaro. We started climbing at 11 p.m. It’s still 2023.  But at exactly midnight, the entire slope along which the ascent to the volcano passes, densely dotted with chains of lanterns, resounded with joyful shouts and songs.  Few people manage to celebrate the New Year in such an unusual environment. We were walking pretty fast, so we went out to Stella Point in the dark.  There was another surprise waiting for us. One of our guides wore a Santa Claus costume. That’s how we walked to the top of the crater - with Santa. To the delight of us, to the envy of all, watching the picturesque sunrise on the way.

Antarctica News Punta Arenas is the southernmost continental town. It is from here that all our expeditions start: ❄️to Vinson Massif, ❄️to Mount Sidley, ❄️on a skiing trip to the South Pole «Last Degree». At first, the group was waiting for a flight to the camp on Union Glacier, which is 3000 km from the assembly point. But the weather made adjustments to the departure of the first group. The gathered and prepared travelers decided to break up the wait for flying weather by visiting the museum — the open-air museum «Nao Victoria» with copies of famous ships, made in a 1:1 scale. Magellan and Charles Darwin made their exploratory voyages on them. The weather pushed back the flight by just one day. After a day of waiting, the team successfully flew to Antarctica. Now it can be confidently said that the Antarctic season has indeed begun. They couldn’t fly straight away, but there was plenty to do on Union Glacier: practice with equipment before heading out on the route. The next day, the weather allowed them to fly. The team was ready: they boarded and flew to the 89th degree. To be continued...
