One of the biggest miscalculations we see folks making is in underestimating the scale of Alaska.
Our suggestion is cut your agenda in half, in thirds, and come back. Visit south central and take your time… go to South east and spend time there … same with the interior.
An itinerary that includes Anchorage, Fairbanks, Valdez, Ketchikan, Denali , Juneau …etc is a sure way to guarantee that you spend countless hours driving or in the airport, and while the travel between destinations can be spectacular it can also be long and exhausting.
Alaska is a special place that is so diverse it merits a return trip … try coming back in the winter for a completely different experience! If you find yourself in Seward give us a call and we’ll make sure you have a spectacular day!
