Looking for drivers/guides to operate transfers to Whittier and Seward. Full time and part time positions available. We operate vans and mini-buses so you'll get to enjoy interacting with smaller groups.
Requirements:
- CDL license with Passenger endorsement
- Clean driving record
- At least 21 years old
- Able to pass drug test
- Able to lift and load luggage (up to 50 lbs)
- Good customer service skills and ability to work well with others
Preferred:
- Experience in tourism
- Knowledge of local area
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's certificate
The job will require picking up passengers at local hotels, car rentals, and at the airport. You will need to be able work quickly to remain on schedule while still focusing on safe driving. You will need to be able to provide safe transportation to the cruise ship terminals while giving a narrated tour en route (training will be provided). You must be able to work independently, be punctual, be able to sometimes work long days (up to 12 hours including breaks). Schedule will vary from 35-45 hours per week. Required work days (for full time) are Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and occasionally other days which will vary from week to week. No overnight travel required; you'll be home every night.
