We're all praying for the 10 passengers on the Bering Air flight lost en route to Nome, Alaska from Unalakleet yesterday. As of this post, the plane has not communicated via their Emergency Locator Transmitter. Alaska is quite vast, and the cold harsh climate makes it a challenge to traverse, but the Nome Fire Department has updated that more state and federal resources have arrived or are en route to assist in the search.

- More ground crews are being rallied together to search the coast
- An additional C-130 is in Nome helping with the search
- Alaska National Guard has launched their Blackhawk Helicopter to assist
- Coast Guard in Kodiak has deployed an additional helicopter to assist
- The FBI is en route to Nome to try and locate the group through cell phone tracking.
- Alaska's DOT is standing by to assist
- Bering Air is standing by to launch a King Air and helicopter support
