We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and had never before used a travel agency. Agreed! We always have *luck* spotting moose on the Coastal Trail around Earthquake Park.

*Sometimes* that means your lunch break goes long because there's a moose blocking the trail. Hey it happens! 😅

This summer a very wise guest of ours said this in response to their flightseeing tour getting rescheduled due to weather: “A rainy day in Alaska is better than a sunny day in most other places.”

Embracing that good attitude on our first proper snow day of the winter here in Anchorage 😊

Go for a guided trek on the Matanuska Glacier - that's in the video! 3. Kayak the lake at the toe of Spencer Glacier 4. Land on a glacier in a plane (or helicopter 😊)
