In 1988, May 7 was announced before Congress as National Homebrew Day, and every year, the first Saturday in May recognizes this day!
Tentative Schedule: 10am to 4pm
10:15 am - Beer Toast
10:30 am – Batch #1 (Brew in a bag All grain) Steve Johnson
Batch #2 (Partial Mash) Zac Quam
Batch #3 (Beginner Batch) Brandon Yanoshek

We will be doing some beers and possibly a cider and/or seltzer.

LEAD a brew batch, JOIN a brew batch, LEARN to brew, or DROP-IN for the toast and/or support. Also if there is someone you would like to brew with. Drop in OK if you have not RSVP’d
What to bring: brew pot, brewing supplies, snack/pot-luck, and if weather is nasty – canopies appreciated.
If you have never made a beer, or a novice… please join! … it is fun and you can learn more about brewing.

It's that time of the year for the Great Alaska Beer and Barleywine Festival. We will be closing early on Friday, February 2nd. We will be open regular hours on Saturday, February 3rd.

Humpy's Bigfish/GNBC Bigfish Competition is back!! This is an AHA/BJCP sanctioned event.

What to enter:
All styles of beer, mead and cider.
Styles will be judged using the 2021 BJCP style guidelines.

How to enter:
Drop off at Arctic Brewing Supply on Saturday, November 25th between 11 am and 5 pm. If you can't make it that day you are welcome to drop them off before that date at ABS during regular business hours.

Good morning Anchorage ! We are unable to open the store again today, our plow company hasn’t hasn’t showed up since Friday. We apologize for the inconvenience and will hopefully be able to open tomorrow. Stay home if possible, the roads are atrocious !

We will be closed today, Thursday, November 9th. Streets are a mess and a tree is blocking our driveway making it impossible to get out of our garage. Stay safe, we plan on being open regular hours this weekend.

Grow your own! Hop rhizomes are in. We have a large variety available to plant directly in the ground. They are a beautiful perennial that will bring you joy for years.
