We have just about finished cleaning up from the season, and today, we had some time to start focusing on getting the shelves stocked back up. We made 45 tubs of cream and bottled up some great amber syrup. If you are in need of any maple products, please reach out. Thanks again for everyone’s continued support.

Another great season is in the books we have had our last boil and officially started cleaning up. A huge shout out to family friends and landowners that make this all possible. Also a huge shout out to the people that continue to stop by and visit, purchase our products and just check in to see how things are going. We came out on top despite a few snags. As a sugar maker I have always had a goal of making 1000 gallons and this season we passed our old record of 860 and ended the season with 1041 gallons. Thank you again to everyone that makes this all happen. It takes some great friends and a very supportive girlfriend 🍁🍁🍁. We have plenty of maple products still for sale if you were not able to make it out during the season.

We have been very busy the last week or so with big sap runs almost daily. Our syrup totals have been playing catch up with years past and looks like another couple weeks of sugaring left. We have been making mostly light amber / delicate syrup. 🍁🍁🍁

Our Story

July of 2013 is where it all began. Trees were cut off the sugar house property and brought to a local saw mill to be constructed into the beautiful post and beam sugar house that stands today. Zach Barton, owner and operator of Trail Side Sugar House, puts in a lot of hard work to make his maple dreams come true. A few building additions, many cords of sugar wood, late nights and early mornings, new visitors and old friends, and pure liquid gold make Trail Side Sugar House all that it is today.

We'd love to have you stop by for a visit. Meet Zach and his crew, sample some syrup or other maple goodies and learn about the maple process. If NH is too far but you're looking for pure maple products, shop online and we'd be happy to ship your order. Visit us at www.trailsidesugarhouse.com
