Calaveras has DRAMA🎭! Oh, the stories we tell!!

🎄Murphys Creek Theatre is a professional, regional theatre located in the charming and historic goldrush-era town of Murphys, California. A year-round venue at 580 S. Algiers St in downtown Murphys where everyone can enjoy great live theatre in Calaveras County throughout the year! Join our beloved Todd, Jodi, and Tom this Christmas season for Jacob Marley's 🎄👻Christmas Carol, running November 29th to December 22nd.

🎄Join Fourth Wall Entertainment Troupe in historic downtown San Andreas for Melvin Johnson’s famous 1940s 🎙🎶Radio Show and a night filled with unexpected mishaps and family fun. Holiday 🎄favorites performed live on stage with a good old fashioned foley artist doing sound effects, too! The laughter runs Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00pm, and Sunday Matinees at 2:00pm, November 29 thru December 15.

If you’re planning to visit Yosemite in February, you need to know that reservations will temporarily be required to visit Yosemite National Park the last three weekends of February.

Reservations go on sale this Monday, Nov. 18th, and the dates that reservations will be required are:
February 8-9
February 15-17
February 22-23

Reservations become available for purchase on November 18, at 8 AM PST and more will be available two days before the reservation date. For example, on February 21 at 8 am, day-use reservations for February 23 will be available.

Visitors with in-park accommodation reservations do not need to make vehicle reservations to enter Yosemite.

Caroling and Candy Canes on Main just keeps getting better! Food and drink offered by El Burrow Coffee Co. and La Esperanza Taco Truck. Appearances by The Grinch and Oliver the Elf! Warming fires on Main St. Performance by “Belles on Broadway” at the Metropolitan by Fourth Wall Entertainment Troupe. The Calaveras History Museum will be open and feature musical guests. The Calaveras Arts Council gallery will be open. Come light the tree with us and fill the air with song and holiday cheer! Brought to you by the San Andreas Merchants Association. This event is free and weather permitting.
