This week I received my favorite piece of yearly Travel Advisor mail from Royal Caribbean….basically the Travel Agent’s essential resource when it comes to all things Royal! Royal Caribbean’s 2025/26 Travel Advisor Guide and Vacation Planners. From deck plans to room layouts to ships and different ship classes, it’s all there! Having this Copendium of all things Royal in my hands, helps me plan your vacations better! 2025 is right around the corner! Let me help make your travel plans!

Last weekend Ed and I were able to sneak out for a quick night away at the Westin Raleigh-Durham Airport. For my locals, that’s right next to the Briar Creek shopping center. As you can see, the room was beautiful and clean. And the employees were awesome to interact with. Inside the hotel, there are 2 restaurants, if you would like to grab a bite without leaving: II Falo Woodfire Grill and Estampa Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse. We tried II Falo Woodfire Grill. It did not disappoint. We were able to be seated right away without a reservation and the food was amazing. If you wanted to leave the hotel, there are several options with in walking distance of the Westin or there’s room service available for a charge. In the morning there’s a restaurant to purchase breakfast and also a Starbucks.
Westin is one of Marriott’s upscale brands. If you’re a Marriott Bonvoy member, you can earn your points. We will be back soon!
