While my husband has been out burning his midnight oil doing snow removal this week, I’ve been at home workin’ late nights and weekends for my travel clients. I’ll tell you one thing, inquiries for beach vacations sure sky rocketed last week while we got 2 feet of snow. ❄️ ⛱️👙

While a massive thanks and tons of love is due to emergency services workers, linemen, drivers, healthcare workers, parents with kids at home😄, and basically anyone braving this Midwest weather – we all know you are all incredible! 🙌

But wait, let's also give a special nod to our travel advisors who've been burning the midnight oil, answering calls, and providing emotional support to clients dealing with canceled and delayed flights this past week.

Here's the kicker: our advisors don't clock in by the hour. Nope! They operate on pure dedication and heart, earning a set commission for their outstanding work on each trip booked. I’m always shocked when I fly at the poor manners people have, but then have to remind myself that not everyone grew up “Iowa nice” lol.

The worst one for me? When people in the back of the plane forget common courtesy and think they’re the only ones trying to connect their next flight/try rushing out without waiting their turn 🫠
