When I bought this Avenger, it had a cushion that slid into the slot above the slam hatch and snapped into the bottom. I need to have a new cushion made, but I don’t want the same style. I access the console quite a bit, and it’s a huge pain to unsnap the cushion, flip it up, swing the door open, and then either balance the cushion on your head or slide it out and set it aside while reaching into the console. After that, you have to reattach the cushion. It’s just a hassle.

I’d like to have a large starboard door made with a cushion attached. I want the door and cushion to cover the entire front of the console above the cooler. I understand that I’ll need to cut a new hole, which isn’t a big deal. Who does this kind of work? I can cut the opening and install the door, but I need the door and cushion custom-made.

Quick easy upgrade from crap to the best. I’ve been running one of these Bob’s Machine Shop dual trim switches in the Avenger for about a year now and it’s incredible. Much better tactile feel and it’s built so much better. Today I upgraded the century to the Bobs unit.
