REALLY FRESH OYSTERS
The eastern part of the Pelješac Peninsula in Croatia is an area known for growing mussels and European flat oysters of superior quality. A visit to an oyster farm gave us a taste of truly fresh oysters.

TAIKO LESSON
Traditionally made from a single hollowed piece of tree trunk, taiko (literally meaning “drum”) have been used through centuries for communication, military action, theatrical accompaniment, religious ceremony and concert performances. We tried our hand during our trip to Japan in October 2023.
