Last week's Guide Enrichment Training session took the Watermark tour guides on a field trip to the William Paca House and Garden in Annapolis 🏡 During the visit, they explored the restoration of this stunning five-part Georgian mansion and learned about William Paca, one of the four Maryland signers of the Declaration of Independence 📜

Yesterday, our team welcomed the Hyattsville Police Department K9 Unit aboard Catherine Marie for training to expose the dogs to maritime situations. It was a great opportunity to collaborate and ensure these K9s are prepared for any challenge, on land or on the water! 🚢🌊🐾

Thank you to Delegate Dana Jones for hosting the Watermark tour guides for our annual Legislative Welcome!

During this session of the Guide Enrichment Program, a member of the General Assembly welcomes our guides, shares information about the current session, and answers questions. After the welcome, the group walks through the Maryland State House to learn of any updates and review logistics.

The Legislative Welcome is a valuable experience that helps our guides stay informed and connected to the work happening within the State House.

Yesterday, Watermark’s sales, operations, and maintenance teams enjoyed a great day of team-building at Topgolf in ! A huge thank you to the entire Topgolf team for making it such a memorable experience. We had a blast! 🏌️⛳️

We shared a little of what a Watermark winter looks like on the walking tour side, so here's a glimpse at the water side 🚢🌊

⚓️ The larger vessels get hauled out of the water and undergo a hull or dry-dock inspection by the U.S. Coast Guard.

🛠️ The smaller boats are hauled out of the water and brought into our shop one by one where they undergo needed repairs. These repairs may include sanding, painting, rewiring, engine work, and upgrades.

It's all hands on deck as Watermark's maintenance team works hard to prep for another great season!
