We’re a writer and a carpenter - dream chasers and entrepreneurs. We’re outdoor lovers and adventurists. We both mostly work from home, so someone is almost always here. When we purchased these eight acres a few years ago, we had only a massive forest and two crystal clear creeks; we are turning it into an oasis of happiness one little project at a time. We love our work here on The Homestead. We also love motorcycle camping trips, outdoor excursions, campfires, spur-of-the-moment day trips, and building stuff. We are currently collecting “junk” as we hope to soon turn our creative skills towards metal sculpture. We abide by the motto, "How we spend our days is how we live our lives, so spend big and live gloriously!" We believe in living life to the fullest always and all ways. We reside on this property in a little travel trailer while we build our Not-Quite-A-Tiny House (850 sq ft) in our spare time. Our little bunkhouse, Cabin on The Creek, is the place we created to provide serenity and peace for our visitors. We enjoy meeting those who come stay with us.
