Engine 1 was dispatched to cover Great Hill Hose in Seymour, today due to the numerous call for service. Engine 1's crew came upon this vehicle stuck in the water on Bungay Rd. with 2 parties trapped inside. Both parties were rescued by Engine 1's crew. Ansonia Fire Department

Last night the Fountain Hose Company 1 held its 2024 past captains/old timers night. The night was held to honor our immediate past Captian Tim Lembo and several members with years of service awards. It was great time with the members, the chiefs and officers of the Ansonia Fire Department , elected officials from the city and state.

The officers and members of Fountain Hose Co.1 would like to offer our deepest condolences to past 2nd Lieutenant Patrick Buckley and former 1st Lieutenant Nick Orrino on the loss of their Son / Nephew. Members are encouraged to attend the services in civilian dress to pay there respects.

Michael John Buckley, age 13 of West Haven and Shelton passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at his home in Shelton. Born in Milford on November 8, 2007, he was the loving and precious son to Patrick R. Buckley of Shelton and Paula Haschak and her partner Bryan

On this National First Responders’ Day, we’d like to extend our many thanks to the men and women of Fountain Hose Company 1, Webster Hose H&L Co. #3, Charters Hose Co #4, Hilltop Hose Company # 5 and Eagle Hose & Hook & Ladder Co. # 6 who volunteer their time, day or night, to protect the citizens of our community! Thanks also to our brothers/sisters at Ansonia Rescue and Medical Services and Ansonia Police Department, who are typically working right alongside us! And let’s not forget those who summon our services and provide crucial information for those emergencies, Northwest Connecticut Public Safety Communication Center! Thank you all for your continued dedication and service to the community!
