Our Story
In 1953, Captain Rudy’s grandfather, Captain Jule Gay, began working as a fishing guide on St. Vincent Island, and he didn’t know it then, but he was giving Apalachichola Charters its start. Three generations later, the G**s are still fishing the same waters, and it’s that lineage and familiarity that makes us one of the area’s best fishing charters. From the jumping dolphins to the history of the local islands, Rudy’s happy to share this knowledge of the area with everyone who boards his boat. Each tour is tailored to suit the needs and interests of the visitors. We’ve loved this area for generations -- let us show you why.
