Late post from a recent trip. This trip was one week after TS Debbie blew through. I wasn't expecting much, but the fishing was amazing. Non stop bites for hours...not a lot of time for pictures but we got a few.
Snook, trout, mangrove snapper, KW grunts, jacks, ladyfish, and more.
The crew had plenty for dinner and sore arms.

Had some military guys on the boat so we did what US military guys do...we won.
Fantastic trip with 30 or so snook, an upper slot red, and some trout to finish off a slam.
1 first slam
4 personal best snook
A great time had by all!

Had 3 generations on the boat looking to bend rods and have a great time. We were successful at both! We caught mangrove snapper, redfish, trout, jacks, whiting and sharks.
These guys had me laughing all day.
They were planning another trip before we were done! Can't wait to have them on the boat again!

Saturday started out pretty chilly but the father and son duo were ready to fish. The moon, tide and temperature were all against us but I had a plan. We started the day bending rods with small jack crevalle that put up quite a fight for their size. Next we put some mangrove snapper in the box for dinner and headed for the flats. Ladyfish on spoons kept everyone busy for a while and we headed to a mangrove shoreline looking for redfish. We saw them but no bites. Last stop of the day produced a solid redfish on artificial.

Had the honor to fish a couple of veterans this weekend and the redfish were very co-operative. Some personal best fish for these anglers! A couple fish hit the filet table and ended up dinner guests.

Fished with some locals yesterday in the bay. Despite the wind, full moon and weak tide we were able to move around and find some fish. We were visited by many manatees and saw a huge cobia that didn't want to join the party. A great time was had by all!

Had the pleasure of fishing a father/son team from Minnesota with very little saltwater experience. Had a great time with bent rods all day including multiple Tampa Bay slams for both (snook, redfish, trout) and some drag burning fun with Spanish mackerel and bonnethead sharks.
(We were so busy catching, we didn't take many pictures 😎)

Nashville crew day 4 of 4.
Well the boys have been the highlight the first few days but Mom had the high hook on the last day. Moving around the bay in slick calm conditions we picked away at a variety of species. Trout, Spanish and a nice Atlantic Sharpnose shark were a lot of fun. Near slack tide ladyfish and jacks absolutely took over. It was seemingly a strike...or more...every cast for quite a while using artificial lures. Everyone was having a blast with these hard fighting and acrobatic fish. Great way to finish the extended trip.

Nashville crew day 3 of 4. Everything thing has been working so far, so lets try something different again. We started one exhausted crew member short and decided to hit some rockpiles in search of fish to check off my man "Captain Crunch"s species list (which is extensive).
After chumming with threads and getting a feel of the bite we had mangrove snapper, key west grunts and others coming over the rails. The wish list Spanish mackerel joined the party as well.
Ended the day with Crunch catching a variety of baits with a sabiki rig which surprisingly came a close second to the mackerel.

Day 2 of 4 with the Nashville crew. We tried a different technique and looked for a few mangrove snapper for dinner before hitting the flats.
Rods were bent for most of the day with a variety of fish coming over the rail.
Brought back enough for dinner and released the rest for another day.
