The 30th annual Sea Otter Classic has been rescheduled for October 1-4, 2020!

Other than the date changes, the location and racing schedules will remain essentially the same.

All race registrations, camping reservations, festival purchases, etc. will be shifted to the October dates.

Road closures at Demo are taking place on WEEKDAYS until rainy season begins. However ... WEEKENDS WE RIDE!

Equipment operations will be starting later this week on Aptos Creek Fire Road. Check www.parks.ca.gov/ForestofNiseneMarks for updates on the road closures.

ACTION ALERT! Two more meetings are being held this week for public feedback on the proposed Farm Park bike park. MBOSC is working with Santa Cruz County Parks on the approval and funding for a bike park (including dirt jumps and a pumptrack) at the Farm Park in Soquel. Things are looking promising! Parks staff will be seeking feedback on the park design at a series of upcoming meetings, and we need you to come express support for the bike park element. Please share this post to help spread the word!

Friends — please stay off the Flow Trail at Demo until it gets the chance to dry out. Conditions are extraordinarily wet out there and Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz is working on solutions for the problem spots on the trail. Please support their efforts to keep our local trails in great shape.
