So i text my sister. No response. Suddenly I get messages back asking for cashapp wuith her name spelled wrong. I call her on the phone and she is not getting any of my text, but she texts me while I am on the phone with her and I get it. SHe gets texts from other people too. I basically am getting texts from her and some scammer in the same window which is her saved contact on my phone. SHe cannot see my texts or the scammers.

Question for my weird homeschooling parents (just kidding.... you guys are the smart ones).

Concept..... How hard would it be to have say 40 students of varying ages, be honeschooled in a co=op type setting where they come up like in the olden days. The older ones learn how to take care of the younger ones and the younger ones learn from the older ones. Teach them:

Gardening
Small engine repair
Sewing
Basic Home maintenance
Financial Management
A foreign language or two
Animal Husbandry
Carpentry
Electrician
Cooking
Etc.....

If 40 parents each put ion 10K a year..... that is a hell of a lot of money to pay 2-3 specialist teachers and allow parents and others to teach various things.,

This is the way. It is the only way. If you are not generally proud and thankful to see your friends surpasss you, then you are not a friend.
The ying to that yang is that through life you will surpass "friends" only to have them surpass you, and and when you reach up for the lift, you will only see thier back.

That wil hurt... a lot.

Chaulk it up to life experience and reach back down for the next friend to uplift.

Not everyone is "shake and bake" worthy after you give them a "slingshot engage"

I have a catalytic converter cover to install on my truck. Do I know antone with a lift. Cant imagine it taking more than 10 minutes to bolt in.

When I think about the man I want to be, how I see myself trying to be everyday, the man I want my godsons to be, this picture sums that man up.

Shooters, cops, geardooos.... lens me your ears.

So I am at that age where is need simple reading glasses for normal phone and computer use. Not bad, only like a 1.5 prescription.
I went to eye doc and explained where my laptop in my unit is and where my front sight is. She gave me a script.

Reently did a Presscheck Consulting "No Fail Pistol Course with Chuck Pressburg. To Notch class. Amazing people. Meisha will 100% make you play with her. LOL.

That ws the first formal clss I have taken in about 3 years after coming off several years og 4-6 classes per year and full time teaching..... things were noticed.

Here is my question. I need prescription shooting glasses. I have had glasses from all the major brands over the years and I am not a sunglasses snob.

Needs:
Durability - daily patrol use (only when phone or typing, not driving). Will spend most time in a patrol bag. Planning to get some magpul hardcases, but worried about crushing.

Style- I still got game and the ladies notice, so I dont want BCG's (military guys know) and I dont want to look like I am about to go fishing in my .

Ballistic rated. Would like a sunglass and clear version. Either cheap enough to get one of each or changeable lens, bot prescription.

1. How will they operate? Like police officers everywhere else in the free country other than NOLA. Like the LSP has been everywhere else in the state.

2. Who they report to? Umm the LSP superintendent.... like every other trooper.

3. How will they adhere to the consent decree? THEY WILL NOT! Just like they don't anywhere else in the state. NOPD is under the consent decree, not the city. The decree has no bearing on them.

Here is the thing Ollie Thomas... YOU HAVE NO CONTROL over them, and I know that hurts. You are irrelevant to how they will do their job. They are here because of the sad state this city is ion and the neutering of our LEA agencies that we have allowed to happen.

Imagine being so ignorant of basic things that you ask this and have it published. I bet NOLA elects him agauin though.

What he should be worried about is telling these criminals that their days of running from the cops are over.

Gov. Landry promised to create a permanent state police troop in New Orleans to help the understaffed NOPD. Troopers have been in the city since January.

My car dudes (and dudettes).....

Say I had a laptop in a vehicle. I currently have it plugged into a small converter that is plugged into the cigarette lighter, but when the car turns off, the laptop stops charging and eventually runs dead rather quickly.

1. If I run that cigarette plug to an always on fuse, how likely is it to run the battery dead if the car isnt started for 3-4 days?

2. Is there some kind of "timed 12-volt outlet" I could install tyhat staus on after the car shuts off, but turns off after a set time lik,e 12-24 hours or something?

Contractors, home builders, and insurance type friends….

So I have been holding you insulate, dry rock, float and paint your garage. They can count it towards the square footage of your home and increase your pretty taxes.

First…. Is that accurate?

Second, if you insulate and cover with plywood or pressboard and paint does the same still apply?

Musician friends-

Say someone wanted to start learning to play the guitar and there was a good chance their ADD would allow them to deep dive into it for about 2 weeks and there is an even gooder chance they might never touch it again.

Acoustic. Mostly like country, Nickleback, maybe some Coldplay. LOL

Is there a go to first guitar?
At the entry level, are they all about the same?
Anything to stay away from?
To start is there a reasonably decent starter model under 100.00?
Other than the guitar itself, is there any must have "accessories" for the new learner?

Lane B is for the bus stop at the corner and you can see the lane markings in the red box.

Here is my question:

When making a right turn, should the driver turn from lane 3 or lane B?

and

Is it even legal for a car to travel in Lane B?

What statutes would apply?
