Lake Rest Resort was created to support a relaxing place for one to replenish its soul and see life from a different perspective. We have always wanted to make this a destination for the soul. We are changing our name to Lake Rest Resort as we finish

our newest vacation home - Loon’s Lodge. We aim to create great memories for you as well as appealing to children and dogs. We offer WI-FI on sight for those that want to stay in touch, but for all practical purposes you will find nothing but quiet space as well as a nice fire ring to relax around . Most certainly- however, we are afraid we would lose what we cherish most- time to be alone or with a small group of people. We strive to make your experience one worth remembering for a long time!

Did you know the largest experimental aviation event in the world is the EAA Fly-In at Oshkosh?

EAA - The Spirit of Aviation 2024 happens July 22-28! The event started 71 years ago. The first one was held in September 1953 as a small part of the Milwaukee Air Pageant. The event then moved to Rockford Municipal Airport in 1959. In late 1969, the EAA board approved the move to Oshkosh.

EAA AirVenture Oskhosh attracts 10,000 airplanes each year and more than 650,000 aviation enthusiasts attended the event in 2022. In 2019, people from 93 countries outside the U.S. attended.

Club trail marking this Saturday, December 2nd will be 2 starting points at 10 a.m. 1 is marble Park in winneconne and 1 is at captain's cove, bring 3lbs hammer and pole or chainsaw and impact and wrench with sockets to change out signs if needed,, late lunch will be after marking at jorgies on the club
