Yes, there are times that seeing an eagle on the Oregon Coast means from the comfort of your vacation rental home! What an experience, to watch these majestic birds soar over the waves. We’ve had guests see them perched in the trees at Hug Point, flying with puffins at Haystack Rock, eating on the beach, and even fighting midair!

You never know when you may get to experience these majestic creatures from one of our homes, so you always want to keep an eye on the horizon! Not only did we see multiple whales feeding, but there were stings of pelicans, a huge flock of seagulls floating, and a raft of seals swimming by. It’s never a dull moment but if you’re not paying attention you may just miss it!
